The original cistern that was built with the house completely collapsed a couple years ago and Big Lee rebuilt it from the ground up. Turns out, the original wasn't built as sturdily as it should have been and was not covered by insurance. The new cistern cost $30k.
The generator was purchased about three years ago from Home Depot. It runs on gas and the transfer switch is at the top of the stairs next to the meter. It powers everything but the AC. it can do the AC but runs out of gas a whole deal faster.
The proper parking for the home is right at the top of the steps, but to the right of the gate so as not to block the entrance to the waste treatment plant.
