We found Kirk and Cara through an internet search for Realtors in St Thomas. For sure, we really feel fortunate with our luck in finding them. We have owned several vacation homes in the past, so we understand that each market has its own local flair and uniqueness.
Thus, before we made a purchase we wanted to find someone who could help us understand the local market and find a good value in our purchase. Kirk and Cara did just that. They are the best Realtor team we have ever dealt with.
With their help we soon purchased a Condo in the Cowpet Bay area. Shortly after the purchase we decided to rent it out occasionally. Well before we knew it, they found a very secure long term renter at a good rate. Subsequently, the tenant renewed their rental term for another long term lease. So this has been a very nice income producing arrangement! And Cara has professionally handled any maintenance or tenant requests in a quick and efficient manner.
While we really liked this arrangement financially, it did not give us any place to stay on our vacations to the Island. So we contacted Kirk and asked him to find us another property to purchase. This time we desired a Villa. And with that he delivered. He helped us understand the difference between condo and home ownership on the Island and the features of the different neighborhoods for our purchase. So next thing we knew we were celebrating the closing of a waterfront property in Estate Peterborg!
Without both Kirk and Cara’s professional knowledge of the market and their devotion to help clients, we may not have felt comfortable purchasing any properties in the Virgin Islands. But now we are fortunate to own two properties and enjoy every minute we get to vacation in the US Virgin Islands. Thanks again Kirk and Cara!
